Else and Naf started texting, which quickly turned into phone calls. They sat with each other for about a week in a couple of classes until Naf very clearly said that he wanted to be more than just study buddies. He asked her out on a proper date. Four years later, they got engaged.

She said she was glad to do that but then, at the last minute, Naf said maybe they could do the park another time and he could take her out to a fancy dinner in the city instead. They exited their building to head to their car and just then, Naf told Elyse that they weren’t taking the car to dinner.
