4th International Gem and Jewelry Conference (GIT 2014)

For gemstone and diamond enthusiasts, enthusiasts and experts, GIT will sponsor GIT2014, the 4th International Gem, diamond and Jewelry Conference, December 8-9, under the theme: The Exquisite Gem Connectivity Chiang Mai, Thailand.

This must-attend event features a selection of acclaimed industry professionals who will talk about various essential gemstone and jewelry topics. This year, GIT2014 will be held in conjunction with a pre-conference excursion to Mogok, Burma, December 3-7, and a post-conference excursion to Northern Thailand, December 10-12. the tour offers visitors the rare opportunity to see the last remaining sapphire mine in Thailand. Once thought to be exhausted, the Ban Bo Keaw and Ban Na Poon deposits in Phrae province once again reveal their beautiful sapphires. In addition to visits to the mine, several cultural activities are also on the conference visitors’ program.

The conference rooms are Grand Nanta Ballroom and Tharathong Ballroom where both are located at the 2nd floor of Holiday Inn Chiangmai. The rooms have specially been designed for catering meetings and conferences.
The poster area is in the Lanna room which is the connecting room of Grand Nanta Ballroom and Tharathong Ballroom. Additionally, we can see the attractive view of Mae Ping River from Lanna room.

Room for Lunch
Lunch will be served at The River Terrace Restaurant – the all-day dining restaurant with an outdoor space. You would enjoy the panorama-view of Mae Ping River while having the tasty dishes.

The River Pavilion, an outdoor dining place by Mae Ping River, caters for outdoor parties especially night parties.
