At Gold and More Jewelers, we love when couples bring a taste of reality, intentionally or not, to their proposal stories. One of our favorites involves a man who took his girlfriend on vacation to Colorado. They hiked up Booth Creek Trail to a beautiful waterfall. The woman, tired from the long trek, began to get frustrated, knowing that her long-time-boyfriend was sure to propose to her on this trip. She sensed his nervous energy from the moment they began packing and was readying herself for the big moment. He had planned to wait until they had hiked down to propose to her in the waterfall itself but since he could clearly see her getting "hangry" and that she was no longer a "happy camper," he decided to change his plans and get down on one knee to keep her from exploding. They later laughed about her tragic flaw of impatience and were glad he could roll with the punches. The diamond ring made it all better!
