Jewelry by Harold North Liberty IA
Harold earned his 'Master Gold Smith Sign" while he was employed at one of the oldest jewelry stores in Schiedam, Netherlands, established in 1895. Harold became the youngest self-employed jeweler at the age of 21 in the Netherlands. When he opened his store, he did repairs on jewelry, clocks, and designed new and custom pieces for his customers. After successfully running his second store in Mijdrecht for 12 years, he and his wife sold it to their employees and moved to the United States, where they have been connected to Iowa City since WWII. In 2015 they moved their jewelry store, specializing in engagement rings for women, to their current location.
